Orphaned, Peter is a mischievous and unruly little boy who refuses to grow up. One day, he is magically transported to Neverland, populated by pirates and fairies. This fairytale land is ruled by the tyrannical Blackbeard. Peter eventually falls into the clutches of the fearsome buccaneer. He tells him a prophecy: a little boy who can fly will come to dethrone him. Peter seems to be the chosen one because he discovers he has this gift.
