In collaboration with Universal Music Group and The Beatles, this is the fifth limited edition turntable. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic White Album, they have created this unique masterpiece. Leveraging the 2Xperience turntable, this has taken The White Album to a new level. The White Album was originally released in 1968, the first of their studio albums to follow the immense success of "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band," and is seeing a reissue in late 2018, carefully crafted to bring exciting new sonic enhancements to this timeless classic.
The turntable itself is almost entirely white. Even the tonearm and cartridge are matched to the distinguished color to pay homage to this exemplary edition. The heavy MDF chassis is very rigid and has extremely low resonances. The main platter is made of acrylic to enhance the sound and achieve a memorable aesthetic. The Beatles' White Album turntable is driven by a belt with a precision motor and electronic speed change. The white record clamp helps reduce unwanted resonances and secures the record to the acrylic platter. The Ortofon 2M White cartridge was made especially for this turntable. With its unique look, it will become the eye-catching star in many homes of true Beatles fans.
