Sir Lionel Frost has spent much of his life adventuring around the world in search of the truth about mythological monsters. He considers himself an expert on the topic no matter the lack of respect shown to him by his peers in high society. After Lionel receives a letter written supposedly by the mythological Bigfoot, he travels to the Pacific Northwest of America to find proof of a living link between man and beast. When he locates the very real and mysterious being, his life takes an unexpected turn away from his goals after the creature begs him to help it find its cousins in the icy mountains of the Himalayas.
